Senior Consultant

Responsible for planning, organizing, and leading client engagements.  Plays an integral role in contributing to The Avant-Garde Group's reputation for service excellence.  Contributes to business development and proposal initiatives.  Participates in networking events related to The Avant-Garde Group's practice areas.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance
  • Ten years of experience in a professional services firm
  • Proven experience writing winning business proposals
  • Federal practice experience is an asset
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to persuade and collaborate with others

Executive Assistant

Reporting to the Founding Managing Partner, the Executive Assistant provides support and serves as the primary point of contact for all matters pertaining to the Office.   The Executive Assistant must be an analytical thinker and enjoy working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and client-oriented. 

Qualifications

  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
  • Three years of experience as an Executive Assistant
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Expert level written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, adaptable to various competing demands, achieve high performance goals, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
